LeVasseur Consultants LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website located at levasseurconsultants.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, submit an inquiry or subscribe to our Insights, how we use it, and who helps us process it.
We keep data collection to a minimum. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
1. Information We Collect
- Inquiry form: your name, business email address, company name, phone number (optional), the type of request and the details you write. We also record the date and your IP address to help prevent abuse.
- Insights & Briefings signup: your email address.
- Visit and security data: like most websites, our hosting server, security firewall and visitor statistics record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and follow up on your request.
- To send you our Insights and related updates, only if you subscribed.
- To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and understand which pages are useful.
3. Who Processes Your Information
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the Site and our business email. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- Hostinger hosts the Site and its database, and keeps standard server logs.
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook and Power Automate) receives copies of inquiry form submissions and Insights signups, sends our confirmation emails, and stores our business email.
- Migadu provides our domain email service and sends email from the Site.
- Automattic (Jetpack / WordPress.com) provides visitor statistics for the Site.
- Wordfence provides the Site’s security firewall and login protection.
- Google Fonts supplies the Site’s typeface, so your browser connects to Google’s servers to load it.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
4. How Long We Keep It
- Inquiry form entries are automatically deleted from the Site’s database after thirty (30) days. Copies sent to our business email and Microsoft 365 are kept as business records for as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal obligations.
- Insights subscriber email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
- Server, security and statistics logs are kept for the periods set by those providers.
5. Cookies
The Site uses only the cookies needed to work and to stay secure: page caching (LiteSpeed Cache), security (Wordfence) and visitor statistics (Jetpack). We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work.
6. Your Choices
- Unsubscribe: email info@levasseurconsultants.com with the subject “Unsubscribe” and we will remove you from our Insights list.
- Access, correct or delete: you may ask us what information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it, using the contact details below.
7. Security
The Site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), a security firewall, login protection and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Accessibility
We design the Site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. If anything on the Site is hard to use, please let us know.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
